Isuzu releases limited edition D-Max 07 | 08 | 2018

ISUZU HAS RELEASED a limited edition of its D-Max pick-up, badged the Utah Luxe. Restricted to only 75 models, it’s available to order now from Scottish dealerships priced from £26,159 (excluding VAT). (Related: New Isuzu dealers for Scotland)

Based on the Utah, the Luxe adds a range of cosmetic changes including extra cladding on the front bumper, a bonnet guard and 18-inch diamond cut alloys. The limited edition also benefits from a  tailgate-lift assist, which reduces the effort to open the hatch for the rear load bed by around 95%. Standard — as fitted to the Utah — there’s chrome trim on the door mirrors and rear bumper, LED tail lights, silver roof bars and side steps.

Inside the cabin, the only addition is a set of unique carpet mats. The rest of the goodies — a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather seats (heated in the front), air conditioning, a reversing camera, push button start and keyless entry are all standard on the Utah.

The Luxe is available in a choice of seven colours, though Isuzu would prefer you opted for Splash White, Titanium Silver and Cosmic Black Mica, “as these particular colours provide the strongest aesthetic”.

Available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox, power comes from a 162bhp, 1.9-litre diesel engine.

Prices (excluding VAT) start at £26,159 for the manual and £27,159 for the auto. The prices are £1000 over those of  the standard Utah double cab.
