Red carpet bash for Peter Vardy  12 | 06 | 2014

    SCOTLAND'S YOUNGEST AND most aggressive car dealership group, Peter Vardy, has been chosen as Official Vehicle Partner for the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF).

    The festival, which runs from June 18-29 at cinemas and venues across Edinburgh, will now see stars and celebrities from Hollywood to Holyrood be transported around the capital in a specially-prepared fleet of Peter Vardy-branded cars. cars used will include BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover and Vauxhall.

    The partnership puts Peter Vardy in the company of high-profile corporate and funding partners who are supporting the 68th edition of the EIFF.

    This year's bumper programme will showcase 156 features — 124 of which are new — from 47 countries, including 11 world premieres, eight international premieres, seven European Ppemieres and 95 UK Premieres.

    It will also be attended by international stars such as Elijah Wood and Don Johnson, and

    "The EIFF is one of the most high profile events in global entertainment and it attracts international talent to the city as well as film fans from all over the world," Dale Smith, Peter Vardy marketing director, said.

    "Peter Vardy is proud to be associated with such an important occasion which stands out in a year of events which are showcasing Scotland at its best."

    Peter Vardy operates five Vauxhall volume dealerships in Aberdeen, Perth, Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh, Motherwell and Dalgety Bay (Fife) and five prestige dealerships selling Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche or BMW-Mini vehicles as well as Scotland’s biggest indoor used car showroom, CarStore, at Hillington, Glasgow.
