Scots designer meets 'Chosen One' 21 | 02 | 2014
DUMFRIES CAR DESIGN guru, Ian Callum, found himself rubbing shoulders with 'The Chosen One', Chelsea boss José Mourinho, at the recent exclusive UK unveiling of the Jaguar F-type coupe.
Penned by Callum, Jaguar's design director, the F-type coupe even managed to steal the limelight from the charismatic football boss.

And as Callum looked on at the event, held at Canary Wharf, Mourinho — Jaguar's new ambassador — admitted he couldn't wait to receive the keys to his new car.
"It looks brilliant: so cool," the former Real Madrid boss smiled wryly. "The guys back at Chelsea are already asking, 'How can this old man drive a car that's so cool?'."
Powered by its 547bhp 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine, the F-type is capable of scorching from standstill to 62mph in just 4.0secs, and on to an electronically-restricted maximum of 186mph.
