Jaguars to lose oval grille 11 | 12 | 2013
DESIGN DIRECTOR, Scot Ian Callum, has revealed the current Jaguar XK (pictured) will be the last model to feature the firm’s famed oval grille.
Instead, future Jaguars will feature a more 'forceful' trapezoidal-shaped grille, as seen in different interpretations on the F-type and C-X17.
And the Dumfries creator, who has also admitted the design of the company's long-awaited new small saloon has already been 'signed-off', said the future role of the XK will have to be examined following the arrival of the F-type.
As for the new small saloon — codenamed X760 — it's expected to follow the current design trends of Jaguar, and is scheduled to make its first appearance as a thinly-veiled concept at next October's Paris Motor Show.
