Hyundai reveals Sante Fe teaser 13 | 03 | 2012

IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING waiting for the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe, here's your first glimpse of how the car will look weeks before it makes its first appearance at the New York Motor Show next month.

The third generation of the mid-sized SUV — it's sold around 2.56m since it was first launched in 2000 — is expected to retain the Santa Fe name and will deliver improvements in refinement, design and practicality over the current model.

Based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design language, like the Hyundai i40 D-segment saloon and estate, the new Santa Fe has a more aggressive look and sharper lines.

The car's designers have incorporated the now-trademark hexagonal grille into the new car, while also giving the car a more rugged appearance by dint of lower bumper extensions.
