The entry-level 1595cc CLA 180, fitted with the six-speed manual gearbox, is capable of reaching 62mph from standstill in 9.3secs and delivers a combined fuel figure of 50.4mpg, and emits 130g/km CO2. In AMG Sport spec, the price rises to £26,555.

The £29,355 CLA 220CDI, mated to the seven-speed auto gearbox, covers the 0-62mph sprint in 8.2secs and returns 62.9mpg and has a CO2 figure of 117g/km. In AMG Sport spec, the price rises to £31,555.
