Nissan expands Nismo range 27 | 02 | 2013
NISSAN HAS COMMITTED to creating more new Nismo performance models after launching a new HQ and development centre in Yokohama, Japan.
The next Nissan to get the Nismo treatment for the European market will be the 370Z Nismo (pictured).
In confirming the fact Nismo will generate more road cars in the future, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn also indicated how its performance brand will play an even more prominent role in the company's motorsport activities.
Already on sale in Europe and Japan, the first new Nissan road car to get the Nismo treatment, the Juke Nismo, will launch in the States in the second quarter of 2013.
In expanding the Nismo range, Nissan has promised at least one new model every year. These will encompass the full breadth of the Nissan road car range, including the GT-R.
