    INVERNESS-BASED Macrae & Dick has expanded for the first time into Aberdeen following the acquisition of Town and County’s Honda franchise. The new dealership joins Macrae & Dick's Honda operation in Inverness.

    “This is a tremendously exciting time to be at Macrae & Dick," group managing director Andrew Grzesinski said.

    "Not only are we improving our customer facilities and range of services throughout Scotland, but we are also growing the business in other areas.

    “Macrae & Dick have recently secured the Toyota franchise for Inverness and the Highlands, which is a significant development for the company while undertaking a major refurbishment programme.

    "In total we are investing £2m in upgrading our dealerships and customer facilities across the group."

    The group, which can trace its origins back to 1878 as a horse and coach operator, is one of Scotland’s biggest dealer groups employing over 450 staff with dealerships in Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen, Perth, and Stirling.
