Scots get limited edition Yeti 02 | 04 | 2012

    SCOTLAND'S SKODA DEALERSHIPS have taken delivery of a new limited edition version of its Yeti SUV. Exclusive to the UK, there will only be 750 examples of the new Yeti Urban.

    Based on the mid-level SE, the Yeti Urban now includes an extra £2000 of goodies, all at no extra cost.

    The limited edition model gets chunky 17in black and chrome alloys, fog lights, silver door mirror covers, roof rails, chrome side strips and wheel arch extensions.

    Inside the Yeti's cabin, there's cruise control, acoustic rear parking sensors, a multi-function steering wheel, DAB digital radio, sat-nav and Bluetooth.

    In addition, you get the choice of red or black sports seats, plus there's a front centre armrest with a storage compartment.

    The Yeti Urban is available only in two-wheel drive, with a manual gearbox, format. There is though a choice of two engines.

    The £16,900 petrol is the 104bhp 1.2TSI that returns 44.1mpg and emits 149g/km of CO2. The 108bhp turbodiesel 2.0TDI is £1430 expensive at £18,330, but it returns 52.3mpg and 140g/km.

    Available in black, white, silver or grey, Scottish Skoda dealers are also offering a selection of accessories including stainless steel pedals, sports exhaust trim and a portable DVD player with twin nine-inch screens.
