LR announces Evoque options 01 | 03 | 2011

LAND ROVER has confirmed the list of personalisation options which will be offered on its new baby Range Rover, the Evoque. Considerably more ‘style-led’ than any previous Land Rover, the Evoque — which will appear in Scottish showrooms in the summer with prices starting around £30,000 — will be available in three “design themes”; Pure, Prestige and Dynamic, instead of the traditional trim levels.

But that's not all. Buyers will then be able to further customise their cars by choosing from 12 exterior colours, three contrasting roof colours and seven alloy wheel designs ranging from 18in to 20in.

Inside the cabin, there's a choice of 16 “tailored designer interiors” plus — take a deep breath — four metal finishes and two wood veneers, three headliner colours and illuminated aluminium and chrome tread plates. Just for good measure, the Evoque will also be offered with a panoramic glass roof.

And when it comes to lighting, there's a choice of bi-xenon headlights, LED tail-lights and ‘puddle lights’, which illuminate a Range Rover graphic at the front doors when the car has been blipped to unlock.

Other extras will include an 825W, 17-speaker stereo, park assist, blind spot monitoring, hard drive sat-nav, rear-seat entertainment with video screens and wireless headphones, keyless entry and a heated windscreen, front seats and steering wheel package.
