Knockhill gets 2013 BTCC dateposted in BTCC29 | 08 | 2012

JUST DAYS AFTER it hosted its annual visit of the British Touring Car Championship, Knockhill in Fife has been confirmed as a venue for the 2013 season.

Organisers of the BTCC today issued its provisional calendar for next year, and allocated Knockhill round seven of the scheduled 10, on August 24/25.

"This is terrific news for everyone associated with Knockhill and motorsport in Scotland, Jillian Shedden, managing director of Knockhill said today.

"After the success at the weekend when we hosted this season's BTCC triple-header, which marked our 20th anniversary in the championship, it's great to be able to confirm we're back for 2013."
