F1 test date changeposted in F125 | 02 | 2011

THE DATES for the final Formula One test at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona, have been changed. The four-day test, which will see Scotland's Paul di Resta complete his pre-season build-up with Force India, has been moved back 24 hours and will now run from March 9-12.

The Barcelona test fills the gap left by the cancellation of both the Bahrain test on March 3-6 and the Bahrain Grand Prix which was originally scheduled for March 11-13. Both were called off in the wake of the political unrest which hit the country.

While the grand prix may well now be rescheduled for later in the year, the F1 season will now get underway with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 25-27.
