Based on the S Navi trim, the S Plus — which arrives ahead of the new hybrid CR-V unveiled earlier this year at Frankfurt — is available with a 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. Petrol versions start at £23,500, with the diesel £24,500. It’s also only available with a manual transmission and two-wheel-drive.
The S Plus gets a new sportier look, with new running boards, plus body-coloured front and rear bumpers and tailgate spoiler.
Inside the cabin, there’s cruise control, Bluetooth hands free telephone system, a reversing camera, plus Honda Connect infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Buyers can choose from four different paint schemes, including, white, black or red pearlescent finish. There’s also a ‘polished metal’ metallic version. According to Honda, the S Plus includes features worth £1500 for free.
As you would expect, the CR-V S Plus is available on PCP finance. The 2.0-litre petrol costs £299/month on a 36-month contract, with the 1.6-litre diesel £309/month.
