Ferrari teases facelifted FF 08 | 02 | 2016

FERRARI HAS ISSUED a new teaser image of its updated FF. While the Italian sports car giant has yet to confirm when the car will be unveiled, while it was expected to break cover at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in May, it's likely to appear at next month's Geneva Motor Show.

Afficianados will immediately spot the car's new headlights, which appear to mirror those of the 488 GTB.

What the teaser pic doesn't address is what's believed to be changing under the bonnet. Rumours have it output will increase from the current 651bhp pumped out by the 6.3-litre V12 engine: out too will go the current seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to be replaced by a new eight-speed unit. Such a change would help reduce the current CO2 level of 380g/km.

It's also expected the all-wheel drive system in the current will be updated.

Inside the cabin, improvements will centre around an updated infotainment system, likely to be lifted from the California T. Expect to also find new finishes and materials.
