McCar: the perfect taxi for Scots 02 | 05 | 2012
IT SOUNDS LIKE the ideal car for Scotland — the McCar. Built by Chinese manufacturer Geely, it's the second generation of mini motorbike-carrying concept. The first concept was shown at Shanghai last year.
Labelled McCar — or ‘MagiC Car’ — it has four seats which can be stowed away or removed completely to accommodate a mini motorcycle. The set-up also allows for a wheelchair to sit at the rear of the car.
It's expected the McCar will form the basis of a taxi within the next three years. The big question though, is will it ever come to Scotland?
