VW's tasty E-Bugster 07 | 03 | 2012
VOLKSWAGEN BROUGHT ITS E-Bugster concept to Geneva for it's European debut. The E-Bugster is based on the all-new Beetle and is believed to promote not only the forthcoming VW Beetle Cabriolet, but also VW's electric powertrain technology.
With a range of 80 miles, the E-Bugster is powered by a114bhp motor which delivers 199lb ft of torque. The lithium ion battery pack, which sits in the rear of the car and weighs 315kg, can be quick charged to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes.
