Jag's new XF dips under £30k 16 | 01 | 2012

JAGUAR HAS LAUNCHED a new entry level model to its XF range: and the new 161bhp version of the 2.2-litre turbodiesel ducks under the £30,000 barrier.

With a price tag of £29,950 — that's £1000 less than the current entry XF — the new model covers the 0-62mph sprint in 9.8sec, and accelerates on to a top speed of 130mph.

As if that wasn't good enough, it'll also return 52.3mpg and emits 149g/km of CO2. It also comes with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox with stop-start as standard.

Standard equipment levels are pretty good too, with part-leather seats, a touchscreen in the centre console and climate control all as standard.

Jaguar dealers have their order books open now for the latest XF.
