Black days for Shogun fans 03 | 01 | 2012

MITSUBISHI FANS across Scotland will be delighted to learn there's a new special edition Shogun in their nearest dealerships. The Shogun Black boasts an enhanced exterior.

There's a new satin black styling kit which includes striking black 20in alloy wheels, roof, spoiler, wing mirrors, grille and headlamp bezels, fog lamp surrounds, door handles and side steps.

Based on the current Mitsubishi 3.2 Di-D LWB Shogun SG4, the newcomer is available in a choice of five metallic colours: Frost White, Cool Silver, Orient Red, Granite Brown and, of course, Diamond Black, which has a pearlescent finish.

With its 197bhp and a massive 441Nm of torque, the 2012 model Shogun has increased towing capacity to 3500kg.

And with best-in-class CO2 emissions, not only is it kinder to the environment, it also has lower road tax too.

In addition to a new satellite navigation and Bluetooth system, the Shogun also comes with reversing camera, iPod connection, new high-quality material leather upholstery, Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control (M-ASTC), auto lights, auto wipers and privacy glass and a colour-coded spare wheel cover as standard.

With its 3-year / unlimited mileage warranty, and service intervals at 9000 miles/12 months (whichever comes first), the Mitsubishi Shogun Black is priced £1000 above the SG4 model at £41,999. The metallic charge for Shogun is an additional £540.
