Citroen unveils C4 Aircross 07 | 03 | 2012

    CITROEN UNVEILED ITS new C4 Aircross at the Geneva Motor Show. The compact SUV, which takes some styling cues from Citroën’s Hypnos concept car first seen in 2008, is set to go on sale in Scotland in the autumn.

    The C4 Aircross will be available with a number of engine options — 1.6i, 114bhp petrol engine, plus 1.6, 110bhp and 1.8, 150bhp diesels — and both two- and four-wheel drive variants.

    While the petrol models use a five-speed manual gearbox, the diesels are fitted with a manual six-speed. The 110Hdi will be offered as a two or four-wheel drive car.

    Sitting on 18in alloys, the C4 Aircross — which also includes a panoramic glass sunroof which is illuminated by integrated LED lights at night —is 4340mm long, 1800mm wide and 1630mm high.

    Capable of carrying 442 litres of luggage in its boot, the new Citroen also has roof bars, door mirrors and door handles are all chrome-finished to match the new colour, a Vapor Gray frosted-texture paint.

    Externally the C4 Aircross comes with vertically integrated LEDs at the front, indicator repeaters in the door mirrors, light guides in the rear light clusters and an integrated rearview reversing camera.

    Interior quipment includes GPS navigation with touch-screen, reversing camera and USB or Bluetooth connection for portable audio players.
