New Dacia Duster yours for £100 17 | 04 | 2012

DACIA, THE BUDGET brand owned by Renault, will make its new Duster available to pre-order online with a deposit of just £100 from June.

The manufacturer, which will launch its first car into Scotland in January next year, has confirmed it will take orders for the Duster SUV from June 28.

Prices for the Duster will start at under £10,000 for the two-wheel drive variant, and duck below the £12.500 mark for the 4WD.

First deliveries are due in January, with customers who have pre-ordered on the Dacia online system being given priority.

We'll have to wait though until June 28 for details of the full spec and pricing of the cars. From that date, in addition to being able to place their deposit, buyers will be able to ‘build’ their Duster via an online configurator before selecting a Dacia dealer to fulfil their order.

Renault has confirmed that Dacia cars will be sold out of selected Renault dealerships. And Dacia has also guaranteed the recommended retail price of the Duster SUV during the pre-order phase, which will expire in December.

Aimed at keeping prices as low as possible, Dacia's deposit strategy is part of the company's ‘smart-buy’ concept, which aims to eliminate all unnecessary costs from its vehicles.
