Mini Roadster starts at £18,020 18 | 04 | 2012
MiINI HAS CONFIRMED its all-new two-seat Roadster will start at £18,020 when it enters Scottish showrooms next Spring. The Mini Roadster joins the Hatch, Convertible, Clubman, Countryman and Coupe, and become the sixth variant in the range.
It will also be available with a choice of four engines, three petrol and one diesel. The oilburner is the 141bhp, 2.0-litre diesel Cooper SD which returns 62.8mpg.
Meanwhile, the three petrol powerplants, as found in the Cooper, Cooper S and flagship JCW (John Cooper Works) deliver 120bhp, 181bhp and 208bhp respectively.

All models feature the standard six-speed manual gearbox, though a six-speed auto 'box is available as an option on the diesel, plus the Cooper and Cooper S.
Rear parking sensors, front and occupant head airbags, polished stainless-steel roll-over bars and an MP3-compatible DAB audio system are all standard equipment.
