Fiat unveils new Viaggio 23 | 04 | 2012
THIS IS THE NEW Fiat Viaggio which has been unveiled today at the Beijing Motor Show. The five-door, four-seat saloon will go on sale in China in the autumn.
Scheduled to be the first model to built in a new plant in China as part of a joint venture between GAC and Fiat, the Viaggio is not expected to be sold in Europe.
Based on the Dodge Dart, the new Fiat is powered by a turbocharged 1.4-litre Tjet engine, tuned to either 118bhp or 148bhp.

It will also be available with either a five-speed automatic gearbox, or Fiat’s new six-speed dual-clutch auto.
At 4679mm long, 1850mm wide and with a 2708mm wheelbase, the Viaggio will not only be amongst the roomiest cars in the C-segment in China.
The Viaggio's cabin, which Fiat says "promises both class-leading quality and high levels of aesthetic appeal", will also be fitted with advanced technologies including an 8.4-inch touch-screen infotainment system on certain models.
