To Eterniti and beyond 09 | 09 | 2011

AFTER ALL THE recent teasing, new British car company Eterniti Motors has finally shown off the Hemera, its first model, ahead of the car’s official launch at Frankfurt next week.

The Hemera, which Eterniti refers to as a ‘the world’s first super-SUV’, will go into production next year.

Although few technical details have been released, the company said it will have four-wheel drive, more than 620bhp on tap and a top speed in excess of 180mph.

Deep breath here: it's expected to have a price tag of about £150,000.

Hand-built in London, it will feature a limousine-like rear cabin, including twin electric reclining seats, iPads and a drinks chiller, and be geared towards chauffeur-driven luxury transportation.

Am I the only person who thinks it looks just like a previous-generation Porsche Cayenne on mild steroids?
