Renault confirms Fluence EV price 30 | 06 | 2011

RENAULT HAS confirmed its electric car which it believes will take the alternative fuel to the masses, the Fluence Z.E, will cost from £17,850 (including the government’s £5000 Plug-In Car Grant). The aggressive pricing ensures it's the “UK’s most affordable electric car.”

Due to be launched next year, customers will also pay £75 per month on battery leasing. The Fluence Z.E is powered by a 94bhp/167lb ft of torque electric motor, with — according to Renault — a claimed range of 115 miles, “depending on driving and road conditions.”

The entry-level ‘Prime Time’ gets 16in alloys, climate control, cruise control, ecoMeter and sat-nav, as well as charging sockets on both front wings. You can reserve your electric Renault Fluence Z.E online now for £20.
