VOLKSWAGEN HAS unveiled a new trim level for the Volkswagen Polo: the new Match model – a replacement for SE and Moda trims – provides “£650 worth of equipment, but its £11,300 price tag means it costs £215 less than the outgoing models.
The exterior features include 15in alloys, tinted rear windows and front fog lights. Inside there's air-conditioning, multifunction computer and electric windows.
There are two petrol — a 59bhp 1.2-litre three-pot and a 1.4-litre 84bhp — and a 1.2-litre 74bhp diesel engine options. All three, available at Scottish dealerships, are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. A seven-speed DSG option is also available with the 1.4-litre petrol engine.
The top spec 1.4-litre 84bhp five-door variant with seven-speed DSG option carries a price-tag of £14,485.
