Top award for Perth Volvo dealer 21 | 02 | 2011

ONE OF SCOTLAND'S LONGEST-SERVING Volvo dealerships, Strathmore Motors in Perth, scooped a top award at the prestigious Automotive Management Awards in Birmingham.

The Dunkeld Road-based business, which has held the Volvo franchise since 1958, collected the prestigious Best Dealership category. The award is the latest in an already extensive trophy cabinet.

"This a another terrific accolade for Strathmore Motors," dealer principal Norman Leishman, who collected the award, said. "It's testimony to all the hard work everyone at the dealership puts in every day; it's an award which is shared by everyone who works at Strathmore Motors."

And the success of the Perth company was praised by Nick Connor, Volvo Car UK's sales director.

"Volvo is delighted that Automotive Management has recognised the outstanding service that Volvo dealers provide to their customers by granting their prestigious Best Dealership award to Strathmore Motors of Perth," Connor said.
