OK, WE AT SCOTCARS aren't afraid at going off at a slight tangent; so say 'hello' to Scottish street trials pro rider Danny Macaskill.

Of course, while we're more than delighted to bring you all the latest automotive news, we thought you'd be interested in this little piece on Danny; after all, he does have tyres on the two wheels of his bike.

Why are we bringing Danny to your attention? Quite simply, you have to watch the latest video by the 26-year-old from Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye.

"Yes, yes, I've seen bike stunts before," I can hear you cry. Well, believe me, so have I; but I'd seen nothing compared to what Danny achieves in his video "Industrial Revolutions".

And don't take my word for it: it's already been viewed by more than 1.8m people in the past two weeks.

From the second he pushes open the old, rusted iron gates to the old ironworks, his ability to mesmerise and dazzle the viewer will leave you shaking your head in disbelief.

I know, it sounds too good to be true. If I'm honest, and I was reading this, I too would think: "Yeh, it's just a guy on a bike doing a couple of stunts."

It isn't. Watch and be amazed.
