Red Bull stay on top posted in F109 | 03 | 2011
RED BULL continued its domination of the pre-season testing when world champ Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheets at the end of the second day at the Circuiit de Catalunya near Barcelona.
The 24-year-old German clocked a best time of 1m21.865s, 0.531s ahead of Sebastien Buemi's Torro Rosso, with the Renault of Vitaly Petrov third.
Force India's Paul di Resta ran second throughout most of the morning session before his progress was temporarily halted by a fuel pressure problem. He returned and completed a full race distance simulation in the afternoon. The Scot's time of 1:24.334s set in the morning, 2.469s slower than the Red Bull, left him sixth-fastest.
