    HYUNDAI HAS CONFIRMED its new i10 N Line city car will be priced from £16,195. The car will go on-sale in the UK at the end of this month.

    The fourth model to receive the company’s N Line treatment, after the i30, i30 Fastback and Tucson SUV, the i10 N Line will be the only new i10 that’s available with Hyundai’s turbocharged 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine. It also benefits from few chassis upgrades over the standard i10 city car, including longer rear bump stops, firmer rear dampers and stiffer springs.

    Externally the model gets more aggressive bumpers, new radiator grille, fresh LED daytime running lights, rear privacy glass and16in alloys. Boosting the sporty look, there’s also a faux diffuser with a twin-exit exhaust tip, plus tweaked tail lamps. Oh; don’t forget the new red badging for the car’s front wings and rear quarter panels.

    Inside the cabin there’s also a pair of sports seats with contrasting red stitching, a new N-branded steering wheel and gear lever, aluminium pedals and red air vent surround. Electric windows, air conditioning, and an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard kit.

    There’s a host of option al extra to choose from, including a technology pack (£1000) — which adds sat-nav, a wireless smartphone charger and an intelligent speed limit warning system — metallic or pearlescent paint (£550), and a two tone colour scheme (£500).

    Power comes from Hyundai’s 99bhp turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 172Nm of torque. Mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, it’ll cover 0-62mph in 10.5 seconds, and carry on to a top speed of 115mph. Hyundai claims a WLTP fuel economy figure of 52.3mpg.
