Peugeot e-208 prototype at Silverstone 07 | 06 | 2019

    PEUGEOT WILL UNVEIL a pre-production prototype version of its all-new e-208  at the Fully Charged Live 2019 electric vehicle event at Silverstone this weekend. (Related: Peugeot unveils all-electric e-208)

    As part of Peugeot’s ambitions to provide electrified variants across its model range by 2023, the 100% electric e-208 is powered by a 100kW motor and a 50kWh battery, delivering a zero-emission range of up to 211 miles (WLTP) from a full charge.     Built on the new e-CMP electrified modular platform, the all-new  e-208 is capable of supporting 100kW rapid charging, achieving an 80% charge in 30 minutes. A full charge, using a 7kWh Wallbox charger at home, will take eight hours.

    “With order books opening later this year, the Fully Charged Live event at Silverstone is the perfect opportunity for Peugeot to introduce the all-new e-208 to the British public,” David Peel, Managing Director of Peugeot UK said.

    The e-208 comes with the latest version of the Peugeot i-Cockpit featuring a 3D instrument panel and touchscreen display. All e-208 models will come standard with MirrorLink, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers can also choose from three driving modes, Eco, Normal and Sport. Reservations are now being taken for all-new e-208.
