Unique Scotland Blue Ferrari 812 04 | 09 | 2018

A UNIQUE FERRARI 812 Superfast has been created in a stunning ‘Scotland Blue Opaque’ colour scheme. Delivered by luxury dealer group H.R. Owen, the blue and white livery evokes the legendary 250 SWB driven to victory by Sir Stirling Moss at Goodwood, Nassau, Brands Hatch and Silverstone. (Related: Ferrari unveils 488 Pista Spider)

Inspired by the exploits of Sir Stirling in the Rob Walker 250 SWB Berlinetta Competizione during the early Sixties, the car is finished in a matte ‘Blu Scozia Opaco’ with white highlights. The stripe across the bonnet and white roundels are a thoroughly modern interpretation of one of the most recognisable Ferrari racing cars of all time.

Powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that unleashes 800hp, the 812 Superfast is the new benchmark in the mid-front-engined sports car segment, achieving maximum power output at 8,500 rpm.

“Ferrari has such an incredible history, both on the road and on the track, so we applaud this customer’s choice in evoking an iconic livery for his 812 Superfast,” H.R. Owen CEO, Ken Choo, said.

“It’s fitting that this design was first seen on a V12 berlinetta Ferrari in the early Sixties and here – more than 55 years later – we see it on a car that can trace its V12 lineage right back to the 250 SWB and beyond.”
