Vauxhall unveils limited edition Corsa 24 | 10 | 2018

VAUXHALL HAS RELEASED a new special edition Corsa; the Griffin celebrates the 25th anniversary of Luton’s big-selling supermini. Available to order now at Scottish dealerships, it costs from £11,695, barely  more than the entry level model. Significantly though, it includes a huge list of extra goodies fitted as standard.

These include a seven-inch touchscreen with satnav, front fog lights, aircon, heated front seats, a leather-trimmed and heated steering wheel, automatic lights and wipers, plus an automatic anti-dazzle rear view mirror. The exterior colour of the Corsa Griffin is also customisable.

From a cost versus goodies comparison, the Griffin offers similar levels of equipment to the SE Nav; like-for-like, that would cost you around £3500 more.

Customers can select any of four Corsa Griffin models, either in three or five-door body styles, with a 1.4-litre petrol engine rated at 73bhp or 88bhp. The Euro 6.2-compliant petrol engine can achieve up to 49.6mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 130g/km.

All models get 16in alloy wheels finished in black, which match the black roof, door mirrors and front grille strip. The exterior look also includes tinted rear windows and Griffin badges on the front wings. Inside, there’s extra Griffin badging on the floor mats.
