Fiat launches 500 Mirror editions 22 | 01 | 2018

FIAT HAS LAUNCHED a new Mirror trim to its 500 hatchback and cabriolet, 500X crossover and 500L MPV ranges. On-sale now at Scottish dealerships, prices start from £13,965. The Mirror edition costs customers an extra £600 on top of the Lounge/Pop Star trim levels from the standard range. (Related: Front-wheel drive Panda City Cross)

Based on the Lounge and Pop Star trim levels, Mirror adds Fiat’s Uconnect seven-inch HD infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. For the first time on a Fiat, the Mopar Connect app — featuring an accident recovery service — has also been installed.

    The entry-level £13,965 Mirror edition gets you a Fiat 500 hatchback powered by Fiat’s 68bhp 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol. There’s a near-£3000 step-up to the 500L people carrier, which starts from £16,795 and is available with either a 94bhp or 118bhp 1.4-litre engine.

Buyers who opt for the 500X Mirror will have to splash out £18,250 for the 108bhp 1.6-litre E-Torq petrol engine. An extra 1000 quid gets you the more powerful 138bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged engine, which can be specified with either a five-speed manual or six-speed DCT gearbox from £19,250.
