Dacia confirms Duster TCe petrol prices 05 | 12 | 2018

THE NEW DACIA Duster TCe turbocharged petrol models will start at £14,395. Both new models are available to order now at Scottish dealerships, with first deliveries scheduled for March 2019. (Related: 2018 Dacia Duster starts at £9995)

Co-developed by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and Daimler,  the 1.3-litre unit is available in two states of tune, 128bhp and 148bhp. It won’t surprise you to learn they’re badged TCe 130 and TCe 150 respectively, reflecting their outputs in metric horsepower. (Related: Dacia tops 'most affordable' list)

The TCe 130, which covers the 0-62mph sprint in 11.1secs, produces 240Nm of torque, while the TCe 150 — the most powerful engine ever fitted to a Dacia road car — delivers an additional 10Nm of torque and cuts the sprint to 10.4s.

Both cars are front-wheel drive only, are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and returned 47mpg and emitted 137g/km of CO2 on the new WLTP testing system.

While the TCe 130 is available in Comfort and Prestige trim levels, while the 150 is Prestige only. The entry-level 130 gets 16in alloys, a 7-inch infotainment system with sat-nav, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, electric windows, parking sensors and a reversing camera.

The 130 Prestige, priced at £15,695, adds 17in alloys, keyless entry, blind spot warning, a multi-view camera and climate control. In 150 form, the price increases £600.

Both TCe 130 and TCe 150 will be available in 4x4 drivetrains from mid-2019. The All-New Duster range is also currently available with a SCe 115 petrol engine, priced from £9995, and Blue dCi 115 diesel engine priced from £13,695.
