Toyota's new Prius+ 02 | 03 | 2011
THIS IS Toyota's new Prius+ and is the first full-hybrid seven-seater to be made available in Europe; it enters the company's showrooms across Scotland next year.
For the first time, the newcomer sees the introduction of lithium-ion batteries to the Prius model, replacing the nickel-metal hydride batteries which are still used in the five-seat US spec Prius variant.
The Prius+ also includes three seats in the second row which split and fold, and also a third tier with 50/50 split and folding seats.
