Renault Zoe Riviera Limited Edition 11 | 08 | 2021

    RENAULT HAS LAUNCHED a special edition of its all-electric Zoe. Badged the Zoe Riviera Limited Edition, just 300 units will be available in the UK. Prices start at £34,795, which dips below the Government’s £2500 plug-in car grant; that means you’ll pay £32,295. (Related: Renault 5 reborn as electric supermini)

    Based on the range-topping Zoe GT Line, the Riviera adds further glitz to the already impressive array of standard equipment. The cosmetic upgrades include midnight blue metallic paint, painted white body stripes and 16-inch diamond-cut alloys. (Related: Renault Zoe Review)

    Standard kit already includes rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and a hands-free parking aid. There’s also LED headlights, plus a host of safety equipment including automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a speed limiter and cruise control.     Inside the cabin there’s a 10-inch digital dash display and a 9.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus automatic air-conditioning. Oh, and the seats are trimmed in a blend of synthetic leather and recycled cloth.

    There’s no changes to the powertrain, which is the same as the standard Zoe. That’s no bad thing because it means a 133bhp electric motor and a 52kWh battery pack. On a full charge Renault quotes a range of 238-miles. Top speed is 87mph.

    As for charging, a 7kW wallbox will deliver a full charge to the battery in nine hours and 25 minutes. If you have access to a 50kW DC rapid charger, you an boost the battery to 80% in just 1hr 10mins.
