“We could not achieve this without the hugely generous donation of a Renault Clio from Arnold Clark. We cannot thank them enough for their continued commitment to our annual event and the charitable ethos that surrounds the company.”

And Eddie Hawthorne was keen to add his support to the charity fundraising achieved by the ball.

“We have been supporting this event for a number of years and I am always impressed by the hard work of the committee and the amount of funds raised from the selling of the raffle tickets to win the car,” the Arnold Clark boss explained.

“At Arnold Clark we are really proud to be able to help local causes and I am delighted that the three charities involved this year will be receiving a substantial amount of financial support from the event.”
