    KIA HAS LAUNCHED Kia Promise, a seven step initiative to boost customer retention and satisfaction. The company states it is “looking to give customers the best possible ownership experience in the UK.”

    Buyers get seven key benefits, which are activated after purchase by registering on the newly-introduced online portal, MyKia.

    “The introduction of the Kia Promise really encompasses the confidence that we have in our cars and demonstrates our commitment to customers,” Sanka De Silva, head of dealer and direct marketing at Kia Motors UK, said.

    “The vast range of benefits offered when registering with MyKia will offer customers peace of mind and reassurance in the long-term.”

    Kia is the only car manufacturer in Europe to offer a 7-year warranty. The warranty is transferable to later owners.

    The seven-benefit package

        1.    Seven-year/100,000 mile warranty.

        2.    Free seven day insurance and £250 Insurance Excess Return for one year.

        3.    Free roadside assistance for 12 months from the RAC, which includes onward travel and European cover

        4.    Online ordering of accessories

        5.    Online service booking

        6.    Free vehicle health check, wash and vacuum and the customer will be provided with alternative transport, if required.

        7.    Free accident aftercare
