    SCOTS CAR GIANT Arnold Clark has begun a recruitment drive in a bid to add 200 technicians to its 11,000-strong workforce.

    Roles in vehicle preparation and maintenance are available at a variety of locations, including Glasgow, Inverness Manchester and Birmingham.

    According to the Glasgow-based company, new employees will work on an “unrivalled selection of makes and models” and will get the opportunity to develop their skills through training and working with the latest technology.

    “It’s an exciting time as Arnold Clark continues to grow its footprint and deliver new services,” Jacquie Sherry, Arnold Clark group recruitment manager, said.

    “That means we need more technicians to join our dedicated team to help maintain our outstanding levels of customer satisfaction. In return for their skills, they’ll get to work in our leading-edge facilities and enjoy some fantastic benefits.”

    There’s also scope to gain industry-recognised qualifications as Arnold Clark staff benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities and expert tuition at the company’s GTG Training centres.

    Arnold Clark has 130 Service Centres located throughout the UK. One million customers come through the company’s workshops each year with more than 200,000 MOTs carried out, 500,000 services and repairs completed and more than 120,000 tyres fitted.
