Special treatment for L200 01 | 05 | 2017
MITSUBISHI HAS UNVEILED it's new L200 Barbarian SVP (that's Special Vehicle Projects, to you and me). And it's on-sale now at Scottish dealerships priced from £37,174.80.
Limited to just 250 units, and inspired by the one-off Mitsubishi L200 Desert Warrior, it's the first to come from the brand’s new SVP division.
The L200 Barbarian SVP gets number of bespoke features, including a new grille, wheel arch extensions, black finish on the lights and 17in alloys.
There are no technical tweaks or improvements to the L200, which means the Barbarian SVP retains tried and tested 2.4-litre turbo diesel, delivering 178bhp and 317lb/ft of torque.
The new SVP division is scheduled to produce further special versions of existing Mitsubishi models, with the next likely to be the Shogun. Again, any modifications will be purely aesthetic.
