UK's biggest used car sale is back 20 | 12 | 2017

SCOTLAND’S BIGGEST CAR dealership group, Arnold Clark, has launched its Real Sale. And this time it’s bigger than ever before, with discounts on more than 20,000 used cars. (Related: Scots car group to the rescue)

The Real Sale has become a landmark event in the automotive calendar with Arnold Clark hosting the largest used car sale in the UK.

This year, a new website feature puts the buying power into customer’s hands in order to personalise their own deals. With Deal Builder, they’ll be able to get an instant online valuation on their current car, get full visibility on finance options, as well as the ability to tailor payments, the duration of the deal and their deposit.

“It’s the time of giving, so we’re delighted to launch the 2017 Real Sale before Christmas,” Eddie Hawthorne, chief executive and group managing director, said. (Related: Scots car giant seeks 200 technicians)

“It gives our customers a great opportunity to make some amazing savings and enjoy that new car feeling. Whether they’re looking for a small city car or a large SUV, they’ll find some incredible deals at our branches throughout the country.”

Customers will also be able find out more about the Real Sale across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by following the hashtag #NewCarFeeling. There will also be a number of exciting prize giveaways on the social channels throughout the event.

The 2016 Real Sale was the biggest event to date with more than 50,000 cars sold. The most popular model was the ever-reliable Vauxhall Corsa with almost 3,500 customers picking up a bargain on the supermini.

The Arnold Clark website also experienced high traffic with more than five million visitors searching for some great deals.
