New trim levels for Peugeot 108 15 | 08 | 2017

PEUGEOT HAS LAUNCHED two new trim levels of its 108 city car. Badged Collection and TOP! Roland Garros, the cars are on-sale now at Scottish dealerships priced from £12,180. The TOP! Roland Garros starts at £14,060.

Forming part of Peugeot’s summer sales push, the new models also highlight the French car maker’s latest finance deals.

Customers buying the 108 Collection on a PCP finance deal receive a deposit contribution of £1200 and an interest rate of 4.9% APR. With the customer’s cash deposit of £2052, that means 36 money payments of £141.92.

Available with a choice of five exterior colours — Laser Red, Diamond White, Golden Yellow, Zircon Grey or Tahoe Blue — the cabin benefits from contrasting interior shades.

Externally, the Collection gets 15in alloys and new ‘speed’ decals, while inside there’s a leather steering wheel and gear knob, plus colour-matched carpets and door sills.

Standard kit? Well you get Peugeot’s Open and Go keyless entry system, electric heated door mirrors, a reversing camera and a seven-inch colour touchscreen.

The Collecton also comes with the choice of two petrol engines, a 67bhp 1.0-litre or 1.2-litre PureTech which delivers 81bhp. Both are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Opt for the range-topping TOP! Roland Garros, and only the 1.2-litre variant is available. Buyers also only get the choice from two body colours,  Diamond White or Raven Black.

It does though come with a retractable orange roof, which Peugeot says is a nod to the clay used at the French grand slam tennis venue. Splashes of orange also appear on the upholstery, air vents, mirrors and alloys.

As for spec, the TOP! Roland Garros gets automatic air-conditioning, keyless go, reversing camera, Bluetooth and satnav.
