Based on the range-topping double-cab Tekna version of Nissan’s pick-up truck, the Navara Trek -1° comes with a number of styling tweaks and additional standard equipment.

In addition to six-spoke 18in alloys finished in gloss black, theres also black sport styling bars, plus a durable load bed cover made from high-grade plastic which hides a bed featuring a load bed divider and liner.

The new look is set off by a pair of forward facing LED spot lamps, attached to the top section of the styling bars at the back.

Given its Tekna-spec core, the Trek -1° also gets rear parking sensors, a 360-degree round view monitor, LED headlights and an infotainment system with built-in satellite navigation and DAB digital radio.

Drivers assist aids, including hill descent control, hill start assist and forward emergency braking are also included in the package. And just for good measure, there’s also leather, heated front seats and an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat.

    It’s powered, as usual, by Nissan’s 187bhp four-cylinder 2.3-litre turbodiesel mated to a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. A seven-speed automatic is optional.

As for colours, you can choose between pearlescent white, as well as the metallic black scheme in the photos.
