AUDI HAS INCREASED its Q2 range with the introduction of a new all-wheel-drive petrol option, using a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. It’s available to order now at Scottish dealerships priced from £31,760. (Related: Audi Q2 1.4TFSI CoD 150PS S line S tronic)
At 187bhp, the new model is the most powerful in the Q2 range; that’s until the much-anticipated S Q2 and RS Q2 models arrive.
Mated to a seven-speed S tronic gearbox and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, the new 2.0TFSI quattro can hit 62mph from standstill in 6.5secs, and carry on to a max of 141mph.
At the pumps, Audi claims the the newcomer will return 44.8mpg and emit 144g/km CO2, thanks to an ‘efficiency’ drive mode and a stop-start system.
Available only on high spec S line and Edition #1 cars, the Q2 2.0TFSI quattro gets an S line bodykit, S line interior styling with front sports seats, LED interior lighting, LED headlights and 18in alloys. Automatic headlights and wipers, plus satnav are also part of the comprehensive standard kit.
Buyers who choose the Edition #1 cars get larger 19in Audi Sport alloys, plus exclusive Quantum grey paint, a black styling pack and Manhattan grey contrast bumpers, wheel arch trims, side skirts and bumper inserts. Brilliant black C-pillar blades, featuring the Audi rings, complete the look.
