Maserati SUV to cost from £54,335 27 | 05 | 2016

MASERATI HAS CONFIRMED its new Levante SUV will start from £54,335 when it goes on-sale in Scotland next month. The model is expected to account for 50% of the Italian car maker’s sales.

Initially the Levante will be sold as a diesel only model, but a Ferrari-built 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine is currently being considered for the UK market.

In 2018, the range will be further supplemented with the addition of a new hybrid version.

When it enters Scottish showrooms next month, the Levante — which will be Maserati’s only SUV, and is expected to sell around 37,000 globally each year — will also be available with either a Sport Pack or a Luxury Pack, each costing £60,285.
