New fabric roof for Smart ForTwo 26 | 07 | 2016
THE NEWLY UPDATED Smart ForTwo, which is set to arrive at Scottish dealerships in September, will will get a fabric covering on its solid roof as standard. Entry prices will remain the same, at £11,125 for the ForTwo and £11,620 for the ForFour
The Mercedes offshoot though has increased the prices of Premium and Premium Plus equipment lines by £845 and £1345 respectively.
That means the Comfort package — which includes a height-adjustable driver's seat and height-adjustable steering wheel, as well as rear parking assistance, and Smart’s media system — is now standard in Premium.

Not surprisingly, Premium Plus get everything that’s standard in Premium, but now adds ambient lighting, LED headlights and tail lights, rain sensors and a reversing camera.
Other changes across the Smart range include an LED and sensor package — which now comes with front fog lamps with cornering lights — and a new child seat fastener as standard.
Oh, and remember that fabric roof? Well it’s only available on entry-level Passion models and, despite it being fabric, it remains a solid roof model and not a convertible.
