Scots dealers to open Q3 order books 17 | 05 | 2011

AUDI'S SCOTTISH dealership network will begin taking orders for the all-new Q3 next month. Prices for the third model in the Q-range will start from £24,560, and first deliveries will begin in November.

There's a choice of two 2.0TDI diesel engines, with either 138bhp or 175bhp, and two 2.0TFSI petrol powerplants delivering either 168bhp or 208bhp. All four models feature stop-start as standard.

While entry-level petrol and diesel models get a six-speed manual gearbox, the more powerful versions get the seven-speed S tronic transmission.

Initially, the 2.0TDI 140PS unit will power the front-wheel-drive model only at launch, with deliveries of that car hitting showrooms one month later than the rest of the range.

Audi's baby SUV Q3 comes complete with 17in alloys, rear parking sensors and aluminium roof rails as standard in the SE model. Inside the cabin there's dual-zone climate control, retractable display screen, Bluetooth, iPod connectivity and light and rain sensors.

Step up to the S-line spec — which will set you back another £2750 — and you upgrade to 18in alloys, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lamps and LED rear tail lights, and enhanced exterior styling.

    The range-topping 208bhp 2.0TFSI Quattro, mated to the 7-speed
S tronic ’box, will set you back £31,360.
