The 28-year-old from Dumfries, who last competed in the Carrera Cup in 2017, will race in the Pro Class at Silverstone this weekend in his In2Racing car.

“It’ll be great to get back into a Porsche 911 this weekend,” the former British GT4 champ said. “I’m not setting myself any expectations or goals, as it’s a very tricky car to drive, but I’m thoroughly looking forward to the action.”

Wylie will start the opening race from an impressive 11th on the grid of 23 cars, after clocking a best time of 55.212secs in today’s qualifying, just 0.619s off pole.
